The assessors will look for evidence of their ability to understand key ideas and in-depth factual information; the speakers “views and attitudes; the purpose of a statement; and evidence of their ability to track the evolution of ideas.
Test Format – Read (60 minutes)
The Reading section is made up of 40 questions that have been developed to test a broad spectrum of reading skills. This includes reading for the core, reading for the main ideas, Reading for the detail, Skimming, Understanding Logical Arguments, and Recognizing Writers “Opinions, Attitudes, and Goals.
